Divorce and Separation
Corlett Bolton & Co has the benefit of one of the few qualified mediators on the Isle of Man, Miss Sally Bolton. For those individuals who do not want the additional stresses of a full court hearing and would prefer to resolve any issues in a more informal setting, our mediation service may provide the answer.
For cases where litigation is the only option, Corlett Bolton & Co take a firm but fair approach in order to ensure that your rights are fully protected.
Child law
Corlett Bolton and Co provides advice and assistance in respect of adoption, the custody of children, child maintenance, residence and contact orders, guardianship and legitimacy of children.
International Family Law
Sally has considerable experience and expertise in international family law including child custody and Hague Convention cases, acting for both parents and for HM Attorney General in Hague Convention child abduction proceedings. In addition she regularly advises on the reciprocity of Orders between the Isle of Man and many other jurisdictions both within and outside the British Isles. She is currently working on the difficulties of implementing pension sharing orders and other types of capital Financial Provision orders between the Isle of Man and other Crown Dependencies and the UK.
